Spring Arrives in Pink and Green

Is there anything prettier than the first bursts of color in spring?

When I set the table, it reflects my passion and personality. In my garden, the Lenten rose is the first to flower in early spring, around the period of Lent. It's also known as Lenten hellebore or oriental hellebore. They are excellent for bringing early color to the garden and the table.

All signs points to spring and sunshine in my garden this week, so I brought the spring colors indoors to my table.

The green mums from St. Patrick's Day are still hanging in there!

The dish on the dishes:

The dessert salad plate is “Amemone” from the Ambiance Collection. – purchased at Wegman’s several years ago

The salad plate is “Juliet” from the Roscher Collection – purchased from TJ Maxx two years ago

The dinner plate has been in my collection for many years, and were purchased at Wegman’s.

Wooden chargers from Pier One (recent purchase)

Placemats from TJ Maxx a few years ago

Lime green napkins from Wegmans a few years ago

The Boutique silverware shows up frequently here.

The off-white roses are "Vendella" Variety from Price Chopper. Their rose of the month.

I've included a photo of several Hellebores to give you an idea of the array of colors.

I will try one more time in a different location this summer. It might be the heat they don't like! I love your napkins and our tastes in chargers is impeccable!
