Blog-hop-logo
Whoo!  Hoo!  It's been WAY too long since I've had a chance to play in the PTI Blog Hop!
So HAPPY to be here!
The Challenge - use these non-traditional colors to make a Holiday card:
Color-group-3
Here's MY card:

I just received my NEW PTI Layered Postmarks Holiday stamps and dies
so of course I HAD to use them!

My sentiment is from an oldie but goodie PTI Stamp Set - Take Three Winter.

Let me know what you think of my card!

Here's a photo I HAD to share of one of my LONG LONG hair rescue kitties after we had her shaved like a lion.  Here she is chillin' on the granite at the back of our tub.  She looked at me as if to ask WHY I was bothering her while she was taking a nap!

She may look funny to some of you but all I can say is, "WAY less hairballs!!!  LOL!"

Have FUN Hopping!

Love that stamp, the color challenge you chose and how you used the colors, the lovely doily and flower! TFS!
Love the kitty picture! I think she looks lovely as a black lion! I'm sure she's happier lion with you not having to vacuum quite so often, if she's like most cats!

P.S. Love how you set up your card for the picture, too!!!!

A tree topped by a rose! Now that's my kind of tree! Lovely card Sue. I also am thoroughly enjoying the layered doilies. Tres chic!
Btw... Cat too cute! And way less hair balls to boot. Genius!

LOVE your little tree Sue and the doily looks so pretty here. She does look like a lion! Our neighbor cuts their labradoodle (sp?) with a mow-hawk...talk about FUNNY!!!

So very, very pretty! Love the details you've added! And your kitty does look like a lion- less hairballs, AND less hair 'bunnies' on the floor, I bet!!

Your card is beautiful, Sue. ;-) I really like the grid lines beneath the dainty doilies, and that tree is super cool. I love the little flower at the top. Beautiful job. ;-)

Sue, this is amazing! Wow, what a gorgeous combo of twine and papers. I love it~

Love the sweet flower as your tree topper. It has been some time since I have played along too.

Your cat is hilarious! I have a long haired Maine Coon and wanted to take her and have the lion cut as well, but there wasn't anyone local that did cats. I bet that granite was nice and cool...mine likes to lay on anything cool.

Just lovely Sue, I wasn't game to go with that colour scheme, but you have done a great job.

Love the photo of your cat - we used to have a long haired cat - and keeping him neat and tidy was a massive job.

Terrific use of the non-traditional holiday challenge colors, Sue. Those look like they would be hard to use, but I think you NAILED them!!

LOVE ♥♥♥♥ This card!! The colours are stunning and I adore that stamp ... (If only the postage and the duty was not so expensive here!!) ... Love your cat too ... My Aunt has a long haired cat and she just looks like an owl when she opens her eyes ... Eyes closed and I don't know one end from the other!

Beautiful soft colors for a Christmas card! The tree with text with doily behind it is so pretty! That looks like one gorgeous cat! I'm sure she'll be happier with less fur balls! We used to have a black cat. Such a good hunter he was! Now we have a big German Shepherd and we know all too well about all the fur!:-) Take care, hugs!

Oh Sue this is so pretty! Those colours although maybe not traditional, look absolutely stunning! I love your layout and the gems rock, I adore the random gem look. I always try it, but never seem to pull it off lol! I must try and remember this colour theme and have a bash at it.
Also a huge thanks for not only your lovely as ever comments but for the beautiful card I recieved. I've been away but will catch up soon.
Hugs, Katie xx

What a fun, non-traditional-colors Christmas card, Sue -- LOVE those tones and with a flat tree topper, these would be perfect to mail in multiples!!!
