Make It Monday: Inspiration Into Unique Sketches

Hi, I'm back again with a quick post to share the two cards I made for this week's Make It Monday.  I chose two of the sketches, one based on the scrap page layout and the other on the everyday object.  A piece of 8 1/2" x 11"raspberry striped paper (something I bought eons ago for 18 cents from a store that is no longer in business!) was the color trigger for my two projects.  I made two cards from the striped paper and then found other scraps in my folder that complemented the card base.

Here is the first card:

The felt roses were some embellishments I made when I was playing around a few weeks ago. I just added the pink rhinestones to perk them up a bit.

Here is the second card:

We are hosting a baby shower for a gal at work this week, so this card was timely.  Plus, it gave me a chance to break out my new Sweet Baby set and dies for the first time!

Thanks for stopping by!
