Oriental wishes

Good morning all

How is everyone today? Yesterday was my first day off after a 13 day run at work - oooh the joys of bank holidays! lol! and wasn't it glorious! I had a lovely day, busy but not rushed and the sun just made me feel 100% better. Sadly, this morning saw the return of the rain :(

Anyway, on with today's card, which is a birthday card for my friend. Her birthday's tomorrow and she always says how much she loves my strawberry earings, so guess what she's getting? lol!  yep, a lovely set of strawberries!  I did debate doing a whole strawberry themed gift, card included but then inspiration took me off down an oriental theme:
The patterned paper is from the Dovecraft Eastern Promise collection. Stamp is obviously a Magnolia, coloured with promarkers. Cherry blossom punches are Woodware and my trusty butterflies from MS. I cannot think who the sentiment stamp is by, sorry. Gems and ribbons all from stash.

I had this mad vision in my head of what I wanted to do and i'm glad it turned out looking something like I anticipated. I just hope she likes it too.

    Good morning the sun is shining here but we had rain last night but as i type this the dark clouds are drawing in so looks like a wet walk with the dog. Just love this adorable Tilda in her costume I still have my get well card with this on and just love that and love this just as mush. So glad you have joined us at CRAFT and also trying out for the DT at CRAFTY CATZ and good luck with both. Enjoy the rest of your day.
