This is an exciting post for me as this is my first DT card for Cowgirl’s Sunday Stamp’en Challenge!Yahoo!Or maybe should that be Yee-ha!Hmmm…on second thoughts I’m probably too English for that.Either way I’m delighted to be chosen to be part of the Posse!!And I’m thrilled to be working with CJ’s Fabulous images – you’ve gotta see them for yourself!
This adorable little fella,who goes by the name of Pumpkin Cowboy, is a new release over at Cowgirl-Up Designs Stamp’en Ranch.The challenge for this week is ANYTHING GOES but we would love to see some Halloween!.To check out the full challenge details,rules and prizes head on over to Cowgirl’s Sunday Stamp’en Challenge.You’ll see the other DT’s amazing creations too!
Being as he’s a cowboy as well as a pumpkin I thought I’d retain a rustic sort of feel to the card.Hence the kraft,distressing and string.I printed him at 100% to make him the star of the card – he deserves it too for all his cuteness!I also printed him twice more onto kraft and green card.I shaded the hat and band using Promarkers before paper piecing them.I love how the original colour shows through due to the transparency of these pens.I dusted off my Crop-A-Dile too!Never use this enough!!
