Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge
April 25, 2012
A last minute card for Papertrey Ink’s April Blog Hop Challenge. I definitely had problems coming up with a card from the inspirational picture. I guess my card doesn’t even come close to the photo *facepalm* But when I saw the damask patterns on the photo, I immediately thought of the damasks from Guidelines stamp set. The colors I used were actually pink and blue, but came off darker and red-er after some heat embossing – and maybe some photo quality manipulation contributed to the colors being skewed. Must try again!
First time using the Guidelines stamp set, and they’re easier to line up than I thought!
Used: Papertrey Ink (White cardstock, Blueberry ink, Trendy Tree Tops stamp set, Guidelines stamp set) | Stampin’ Up (Pink Passion ink, dimensionals)

Hi Pamela…I’m back! Thanks for visiting my blog. In answer to your question I used Memento ink called rose bud! I also used it on the little house, creating a softer shade by stamping it off once first!

Love this and if you like the guidelines set, you’d love the giga version!! I am a bit confused, though – your supply list doesn’t seem to match the card.

Love this! I think I for sure want the guidelines stamp set now. Your pattern is awesome. And I think I see little jewels in the center of the pink. What a perfect touch!
