Today I did a bit of crafting and so I have a card for you. Linking to three challenges – Make It Monday #61 – flower with non-flower dies, Retro Sketches #6, and Lily Pad Cards – Flower Challenge
I went the simple route and made this card!
The MIM challenge was to make a flower using non-flower dies. I used the picket fence die to make my flower! Yes! Patiently cut out each panel and lined it all up! Distressed the inner line of flowers and added a fancy Stampin’ Up brad! Flourishes in Versamark and sentiment from Signature Greetings. The lovely leaves are from a punch and with New Leaf paper and the PTI kraft cardstock is distressed with Tea Dye ink.
Easy peasy! Give this challenge a shot and see what you can come up with! I used the lovely sketch from Retro Sketches for this one…playing with them for the first time! Hope to join in more often!

Oh my the flower is simply gorgeous i think i went over your post 2 times before i was convinced that read it rite…a flower made from a picket fence…now thats simply amazing!!! this is such a beautiful card really liked it…all the best with the challenge:)
WOW!!! Me like! The kraft paper with the flourishes actually looks like patterned paper, what with the distressing and all that. Picket fence…..really…..who wouldda thunk it? Fabulous idea, Shobana.
