New Challenge/Different Kind of Card

Hello All:

You know why I love Saturdays? Because tomorrow is Sunday and that means another opportunity to relax at home and craft. :) Tonight I was able to sit down and work on a new card for a challenge, but what made this challenge more enjoyable was that the card was made using a different technique. Tuesday Morning Sketches decided not to use a sketch this week, but a different card technique called a Diagonal Double Pocket Card.

I really like this technique because it makes such a unique gift card holder. I am the type that takes great pride in how I present gifts and this is awesome. The paper is DCWV and the embellishments are from Hot off the Press. The paper is just so pretty that I kept the embellishments to a minimum. The words stamped on the 2nd layer say "Wishing you big smiles today and all year long" and there is a tag in the back pocket with the gift card that says Happy Birthday. So this card is my entry to Challenge #55 at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Thanks for looking and all of your comments are appreciated.
