Cute Little Box!

Today’s cute box idea started as a search for a project to share for the DOswts423 Challenge. I’ll be honest, I don’t do a lot of 3D projects or packaging so I have to step out of ‘my box’ to come up with ideas. So, as I was paging through the Holiday catalog, I realized that I had purchased a die for making cute little boxes, wow, who knew. I purchased the Tricks & Treats Bundle for the cute Halloween images and never really noticed the big die to make little boxes.

These are so easy to make! The finished box is 3″ x 1″ and 4″ tall. There is a die to cut the jagged edge and two dies to cut holes for handles. Just cut two of the box pieces (I used Christmas patterned DSP for these), add Tear n Tape to the narrow tabs, and adhere the sides together, then add a strip of Tear n Tape to the bottom and fold it in.

This box is full sized with holes die cut in the top for a handle. The paper is the Snowflake Magic Specialty DSP. The greeting is from the Merry & Bright stamp set done in Shaded Spruce ink. The labels are die cut with the Something Fancy Dies. A piece of vellum is layered under and has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. A sprig was cut from the Christmas Pines Die and some 2022-2024 In Color Bakers Twine was looped around under the greeting.

This box uses the A Walk in the Forest DSP. The top has been die cut with the jagged die. To make sure they are even I layered both box pieces together and die cut them both at the same time. It cut perfectly through both layers of DSP.

The paper on this box is from the Joy of Christmas DSP. The cut off jagged edge from the second box made a nice topper on this box.

I hope that you enjoyed these little boxes.
