Dainty Flowers Thank You Card

 

Hello!! Thank you so much for visiting! I'm excited to be participating in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! For this blog, I chose to feature some of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper that is available for FREE with a qualifying purchase. The Dainty Flowers 12" x 12" DSP has beautiful watercolour flowers on a watercolour background. The reverse sides of the DSP are also beautiful, with each having a wonderful wash of watercolour. Both of these cards were very quick to make! The DSP does all of the work! The second card is super-quick--Cut the DSP to size, wrap Linen Thread around and tie into a bow, stamp and cut a label for the sentiment, adhere the card front to the card base, and adhere the sentiment with Dimensionals! And "Bob's your uncle"--you're finished!!

The card at the top is stepped up a bit, but it is also still very fast to make. It has a Mossy Meadow layer below the DSP, and the Fresh Freesia and Rich Razzleberry corner layer that has been cut with our new Around the Bend Dies. Full directions are below.

Full Directions for My Dainty Flowers Thank You Card:

1. Cut the following layers:
• Rich Razzleberry cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"; 3-1/2" x 2-1/4" (for first card--die cut with Around the Bend die)
• Fresh Freesia cardstock: 3-1/2" x 2-1/4" (for first card--die cut with Around the Bend die; stamp sentiment in Rich Razzleberry)
• Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" (for first card)
• Basic White cardstock: 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" (for second card--stamp sentiment with Rich Razzleberry ink; die cut with smaller wide Stylish Shapes banner die)
• Dainty Flowers DSP: 4" x 5-1/4"
2. Wrap 32" of Linen Thread around DSP three times and tie into a bow.
3. Adhere DSP to Mossy Meadow Layer. 
4. Adhere matted DSP layer to card base.
5. Adhere Around the Bend layers and adhere to card front.
6. Omit steps 3 and 5 for second card, and adhere sentiment to card front with Dimensionals.
