Demonstrator Training Program January 2023 Blog Hop

Thank you for finding my Blog entry for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop for January 2023! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are learning with and from each other and sharing our love of creativity with others, and hopefully inspiring others to be creative too.

Have you ever crafted when you are not at home, or don't have your full stash of craft supplies with you? This was me recently! I am in the middle of packing to move house and sat down to do my blog project only to realise that I have packed some of my stamping stash - so what do you do? Innovate!

I wanted to make a project with the beautiful Beautifully Happy stamp set that is currently available with Sale-a-Bration! But I didn't have a stamping block on hand that was big enough - the answer? In this instance I used an ink pad.

My card that I created is a Thank you card using the one stamp set, x2 ink colours and x2 embossing powders. I stamped the flower on white card stock and then stamped over that with just some of the flowers using the colour Sweet Sorbet and then used a water painter and ink to add some colour to the other flowers and the leaves (in Granny Apple Green). The Thank you was stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Basics Embossing Powders in Black, while the bees were also stamped with Versamark and then Metallics Embossing Powders in Gold. The flowers were fussy cut (hand cut, not with a die) and stuck onto Basic White Cardstock, with Stampin' Dimensionals, that was purposefully torn and damaged to have a rough appearance. The white card stock with the flowers, embossing and the dotted stamp (out of the same stamp set) was then pasted onto a a card that was A5 size cut from the Sweet Sorbet A4 Card Stock. Pasted on using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue

This was such a fun project to make with new challenges to over come without having all of my tools. I was unfortunately late to have this blog prepared due to life events, so if you are now having a look, thank you so much!

There is a lot of blogs below from very creative people to have a look at when you have finished here.
