Today I am going to share with you a card I made on a very special Facebook Live! We are currently away in Zimbabwe volunteering at an animal Sanctuary. This live was filmed at the hotel we had to quarantine at so was my first overseas Face book live woo hoo!

Sneak Peak

I used a new stamp set that will be appearing in the up coming sale-a-bration starting 4th January. It’s called Awesome Otters and they really are! This stamp set will be available for FREE with a qualifying order of £45 or more. Even better!

Awesome Otters thank you cards

I sent all my customer thank you cards before I left the UK so this card will be given to the owner of the Twala Trust animal sanctuary that we are working at Sarah Carter.

I had such fun making it I might even make some more for the wonderful staff that work here. They certainty deserve it!

Given that my whole craft stash is restricted to half a piece of hand luggage, I had to get my thinking cap on

One of my favourite beginner techniques is masking and thankfully I managed to slip my post it note strips into my ‘essentials only’ bag!

The ‘background’ is created using Bermuda Bay Ink applied with a bending brush. I so love this technique too!

The Otter is coloured using my beloved watercolour pencils and the image finished with a wink of Stella and some NEW Irridescent Rhinestone basic gems which will be available in the upcoming Jan to Jun Mini Catalogue from 4th January.

The image is mounted onto a piece of NEW Heart & Home DSP and is covered with Cinnamon Cider Ink using a blending brush

Measurements – Otterly Awesome Thank You Cards

  • Card Base –Bermuda Bay –29.7 cm by 10.5 cm scored at 14.9 cm
  • First Layer : Heart & Home DSP – 14.3 cm by 9.0 cm
  • Second Layer;– Basic White– 14.3 cm by 9.0 cm
