I am Sharni Haines from Australia, welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month we are sharing a suite of our own choice from the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue!
I have just realized this is not a suite, but only a bundle! What's Cookin' & the Cookin' Dies. There is no paper or ribbons that specifically come with this set, but because Stampin'Up! coordinate everything so well, I am able to make this pop up card work.
I opened this bundle for the first time this morning - I have been waiting for an opportunity and time to do so and was very excited to have a play!
The actual pop up design is one I have made before and I even have a tutorial on how to make the card - not this actual card with these products, the original design was using Graces' Garden...details at end of the post.
I have tried to create a cute kitchen scene with elements I have in my kitchen. And even some of the colours of the kitchen utensils.
The bit of green foliage (Old Olive) is from the Meadow Dies and it reminds me of parsley or coriander - two herbs we use almost daily in our cooking.
My pepper shaker is red and looks just like this one!
The Real Red & Very Vanilla pieces were cut from the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I used Silver Foil for the knives and other utensils and All in Good Taste for the wooden spoon, cutting board and handles. (This is currently on sale - $31.45...instead of $37.00).
You can see I used round and square brads to 'hang' up the utensils, as ell as a bit of Linen Thread to tie up the herbs.
The blue spotty paper is from the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper.
I had a fabulous time this morning making this card and trying out all the dies and stamps. I can see myself having a lot of fun playing with this set some more!
