Hey Birthday Chick

Hey Birthday Chick is such a fun stamp set! It is perfect for a birthday celebration. I just love these fun these cute Chicks. I love that they are versatile enough to create a kids, teenage or more masculine card too.

They lend themselves to a fun fold or a more complex card, but for todays creations I have kept them fairly simple.

I say fairly simple, because I have use Heat Embossing, but the tools to be ale to heat emboss on your cards and projects is such a great addition to your stash if you don’t yet have these items

To create the background I have stamped with the All Wired Up background stamp using Versamark and heat embossed in White.

Once the background has been heat embossed I have added some Pool Party Ink with a Blending Brush – These are such a great tool for blending ink onto your projects, it applies the ink so smoothly as gives a beautiful finishes

The ‘notch’ out of the the side of the Hey Birthday Chick card has been cut with the Classic Label Punch. This leaves a little space fo the twine to sit on your card.

I have also created second card using the same technique and layout, but this card was using the VERY cute Hot-Dog Stamp Set. This set is within the Jan-June Mini Catalogue.

The card base is Magenta Madness and the coordinating elements on the card are using the Magenta Madness Ink and Blends

The front panel was cut from Basic White and was cut to 14.5cm x 10.2cm, which leaves a skinny border on the front of the card.
