This is such an entertaining Christmas tale. The characters are delightful, and it is the perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter’s night. Readers will find nothing offensive. In fact, the only complaint might be that the book is too short!

The last portion of the book is peppered with some yummy Christmas recipes. In fact, I’m not sure which part of the book is better–the story or the recipes! If you are looking for a book to instantly put you in the Christmas spirit, this book is it!

Christmas at the Timberton Hotel arrives each year with a unique set of guests, some returning, some new. Deborah Garner is an accomplished travel writer with a passion for back roads and secret hideaways. Born and raised in California, she studied in France before returning to the U.S. to attend UCLA. After stints in graduate school and teaching, she attempted to clone herself for decades by founding and running a dance and performing arts center, designing and manufacturing clothing and accessories, and tackling both spreadsheets and display racks for corporate retail management.
