Today’s blog post features a quick and easy thank you card, which is designed with my customer’s in mind, but is a great little card for whoever you want to send loving thanks to.

Each month, the Demonstrator Support group’s Blog Hop takes Thank You cards as its theme. Gratitude is not just polite, it is good for our mental well being. So it is great to be able to hop through the entries and see so many ways we can express that gratitude.

My Quick and Easy Thank You Card

For this month’s card, I decided to dig out the stitched circles from my stitched shapes dies and team them with some of the beautiful Peony Garden papers. These cards are easy if you are creating multiples, because you can run a couple of thicknesses of paper through your Cut and Emboss machine at the same time, so you can soon whizz up a pile of circles.

I decided on a Petal Pink card base with a Gray Granite mat on top. This mat was embossed with the lovely Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. The circles were simply arranged and stuck on top. My greeting was stamped in Basic Gray ink on a strip of Petal Pink card, which was then given a Gray Granite mat. A swirl of the Gray Granite shimmer ribbon was adhered to the label, before placing it on the card with dimensionals. The card front was finished with a scattering of Champagne Rhinestones.

Inside and Out

I used the small peony stamp from the coordinating Prized Peony stamp set to add a Gray Granite bloom to the card insert and the envelope flap. I finished the inside of the card with a strip of the DSP that echoed one of the circles on the front.

This lovely little card took minutes to make, but will sent packed with love and thanks – as the sentiment suggests.
