Booklovers win a book of your choice.

Howdy booklovers, it's June, almost Father's Day and welcome to the Come Out & Play Giveaway Hop.

We have three hosts to thank: The Mommy Island, The Kids Did It, and Zombie Parenting plus a cavalcade of other blogs (listed below) to visit with prizes galore to win.

Now, the reason for the season: summer reading cele-book-ation!!! It's a mixture of a party,  a getaway (which is exactly what we do when we dive into a book), and a reading recommendation. Okay, on my list of favorite reads I came up with the books I keep returning to again, and again.

#4 is an adult read, In Five Years by Rebecca Serle. It's set in contemporary NYC and is all about friendship, compassion, love, and loss. Have tissues near. It's a fast read, well-written, and actually should be classified as women's fiction.

#3. The Montessori Toddler by Simone Davies. For anyone with a toddler in the house and wondering what to do, wonder no more. Lots of great info that makes sense.
#3 On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman. Pure grand poetic illusion. A book that whisks readers away. The story line imbues us with a gentle reminder of our uniqueness and how we long to connect with the world both near and far.

My #1 book recommendation because it's my absolute favorite to date:
The Wonderful Things You Will Be by Emily Winfield Martin. I bought it last year when my grandson was born. And like children do, he's growing and changing daily. This story is a doorway to imagine who he will be in weeks, months, years to come. A wonderful keepsake book.

Now it's your turn. What's your favorite read? That book you've read once, twice, annually, can't forget, or always recommend? It can be fiction or nonfiction, any genre. You know what they say, sharing is caring.

If you are a booklover with a TBR list have I got news you can use.  Here on deck at the Gardens, Books, & Romance we're giving away a book of your choice, up to a $20.00 value. That's right. You are free to choice the title and as long as Amazon delivers it, then you're all set.
