Good Morning! Welcome to this month’s SU Style Home Decor Blog Hop! I am sharing my Golden Honey Bee Frame with you.
Be sure to click through the blog hop and see what projects you can make to decorate your home from Demonstrators all over the world.
Golden Honey Bee Frame
I sure hope you like the Honey Bee Bundle from Stampin’ Up! I have a couple of projects using it today.
First I have my Golden Honey Bee Frame ..
How sweet doe sit look sitting on my sideboard with my Willow Tree girls and my Globe?
I had so much fun making this frame! I got the idea from On Stage last November. Sara Douglass, CEO of Stampin’ Up! shared the project in her Demonstration and I immediately knew I had to make one!
The papers are all from the Golden Honey Specialty Paper Pack which was a free Saleabration reward.
It’s not surprising that this paper pack was the most popular Saleabration product. It’s divine and it was the first Saleabration item to sell out in all markets. I may or may not have contributed to that statistic as we used it for our Honey Bee Fundraiser so stocked up on it somewhat! Also, I may .. or may not have some pack/s left over. Sshhhh!
The pieces are all cut in three different sizes and then position on a Whisper White 12×12 piece.
The centrepiece is the Gold Embossed Bee Hive with just a few bees buzzing around it.
The pieces are also adhered in three depths …
Some are adhered flat down, some have a single layer of dimensionals and the others have 2 layers of dimensionals. This gives the piece depth and dimension.
I do love making pieces like this and they also look good on the wall with the other family art work ..
My Opa was a rather talented Artist and my siblings are blessed to have some of his Artwork.
I do hope you like what I’ve created. I have a tutorial and kits available. If you are interested please comment on this post and I’ll get in contact with you. If you are local to me I even have a couple of spare frames. This black frame is a 12 x 12 Shadowbox Frame from Kmart Australia.
Let’s go hopping …
Now it’s time to see what the Home Decor SU Style ladies have made for you today ..
I hope you enjoyed today’s hop and my projects today. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask.

I need to try this Leonie! Several times — with different designer paper packs.
