MY THOUGHTS: Piper is a tough cookie with what appears to be a hard shell, which works well in her business as a contractor. After a bad experience with her high school boyfriend, Piper put up walls around her heart. Harley has been friends with Piper since he discovered his brother broke Piper’s heart in high school and he’s been looking out for her since then.

Harley and Piper have been friends for as long as everyone can remember and everyone can see that Harley and Piper are not only meant for each other but loved each other beyond friendship. And it takes a village to help get them together.

This romance is not only filled with friendship, first dates, and romance but exciting revelations, fights, family plots and illnesses. Melissa Foster has long become one of my favourite romance authors and always look forward to a new tale to unfold.
