Spring Wedding Card Ideas

Image may contain: possible text that says 'Blogging Friends Blog Hop'
Hello there,

Can you believe it is March already?!  Where does the time go!

We have a wonderful blog hop for you this month and the theme will help us get ready for spring!  All creations will be based on spring weddings!

We had a blizzard here in southern Ontario that kept most everyone house bound for over 24 hours last Friday.  So, a spring theme is a wonderful diversion.  lol.

With spring wedding being the theme, I knew right away I wanted to use the new Timeless Tulips from the Spring 2020 catalogue.

I used a 'new to me' technique on this card.  I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out and it was surprisingly easy.  This technique gives the look of watercolour painting.  I think it is so pretty.

To create these flowers, I stamped the flowers in a light colour ink, I used Daffodil Delight.  I then used 2 different pink sets of Stampin' Blends.  I started with the lightest of the four markers and coloured over all of the yellow, then the next lightest and coloured most of the flower leaving the top of the flower light and then next lightest colour and so on with the darkest of the four colours keeping mostly to the bottom of the follower.  I then used the lightest and blended it all in.  Finally, I used the colour lifter to add some highlights.

The stems were created in the same way only using two different green colour blend combos.

The greeting is from Dandelion Wishes.  I punched it out using the Story Label Punch, added a Petal Pink stitched circle and a vellum stitched oval.

Be sure to hop on through and see of the other spring wedding ideas.

Happy stampin'

Tammy
