A Paper Pumpkin Thing Winger Gifts Blog Hop

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I am so glad we will be staying home and having friends over as we got quite a bit of snow on Tuesday! So here I sit typing up my blog post before I spend the vast majority of the day in my kitchen making one of my favorite meals to make. We have our friends the Mortenson's coming over with their 3 kids so it will be a smaller crowd that can be a ton of fun!

I am back with the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! I am so excited this month because the amazing Elizabeth Price has joined our team and she is jumping right in with the Wintere Gifts Kit!Plus, We are diehards and didn't want to let you all down! This month Stampin' Up! and Paper Pumpkin did not disappoint!! In fact this may be one of my favorite kits EVER!

I know that many of us are looking for alternative ways to use our kits... This kit was hard to even think about using any other way. After messing around for about an hour on the only day I had to myself in the last two weeks... I came up with the snow themed card I created below. Let me get you the details!

This card started with the my Whisper White layer. I began by sponging the Night of Navy and Pool Party until I got the desired effect. Next I stamped the Let It Snow sentiment sporadically with Versamark Ink so that I could use the Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder. This was accented with the small snowflakes that are also in the kit using Night of Navy ink. I layered the two sizes of snowflakes by adhering them together with Mini Glue Dots and then adhering it to the card front with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional! A nice little sequin in the center of the snowflake and a double silver twine bow was the perfect accent for this amazing alternate that sits on a mat of Pool Party Cardstock with a Night Of Navy base!

I can't wait for you to see all the alternates on todays hop! Maybe you can take a break once the Turkey is in the oven and flip through the list below! Have an amazing day!
