Let's Taco 'bout Your Birthday

I couldn't resist the adorable taco image in Lawn Fawn's new Year Nine stamp set.  It was perfect for the focal image for the current sketch from Global Design Project.

Let's Taco 'bout Your Birthday card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I colored up the taco with Copic markers, then used my Scan 'n Cut machine to cut out the colored image.  It was adhered to a round panel using foam tape for dimension. I paired the taco image with some festive confetti--or sprinkle--patterned paper.  The patterned panel was matted on golden yellow cardstock, then adhered to a red card base.  I stamped the "let's taco 'bout" sentiment on a narrow strip of the same red cardstock and layered the piece over the taco image.  The rest of the sentiment was stamped just beneath the taco to finish off the card.

Materials Used:
Year Nine stamp set (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Party Boy 6x6 paper pad (Photoplay); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
