New York City is my favorite city in the world, so reading this book brought back the feels of NYC dreams I had as a little girl of living in the big city and working in fashion! This book walked me through excitement, loss, nostalgia, love and joy. I felt connected to Amelia and I felt like I could relate to her. I loved her heart for Gram and their relationship was special, even though Amelia felt some guilt for living her life in NY. It was still easy to grasp her love and admiration for gram.

Kathleen Shoop did an excellent job of bringing you into the story and feeling all the feels. I am a fan now and SO excited to read the next book to this series! I can’t wait to find out what happens with Amelia’s reputation back in NY and what about her love life? Oh my goodness….. so much to unpack! There is a ton more I HAVE to know and cannot wait to continue reading Amelia’s story! If you are looking for a good book with depth and a good story line, this is the book to get!
