Pretty in Pastels

Pinkfresh Studio hosts a monthly challenge and I decided to play along with November's lovely color scheme...

I also used this week's sketch by Linda at Freshly Made Sketches...

I chose to use Pinkfresh Studio's adorable "Great Joy" stamp and die set with my Zig Clean Color markers.

I stamped the die cut wreath and bow on watercolor paper with Versamark ink, heat embossed in white, then colored over with the markers and a waterbrush.

For my "gold," I colored the sweet animals with a gold-ish marker, then used a Wink of Stella pen to sparkle them up. Added details with Nuvo Drops and gold Liquid Pearls to the wreath, too.

Stamped the sentiment in navy, then added lots of little stamped elements from the set all along the outside edges.

These would not be colors I typically reach for, but they look so beautiful together for a holiday card!

 Thanks for stopping by!
