The Door in the Alley (The Explorers, #1)

What a fun book! Very similar to the likes of the Mysterious Benedict Society (minus the Whisperer's brainwashing), with a dash of the 39 Clues series. Some parts are even akin to the likes of Jules Verne.
Love the witty dialogue.
Love the unneeded, but fun and important footnotes (which disappeared after a while!?).
Overall? I want to join the Explorers Society. Where's the next book?
Favorite quote?
"But worse than that for poor pragmatic, logical, level-headed Sebastian, it appeared that a part of him found this all rather thrilling."
