visual triangle...

and

It’s harvesting time around Western New York with the pumpkin turning orange, early varieties of apples available at the farm stands and cherries just finishing up.
This gave me the inspiration for this card.
If you are following the MFT Summer School Session 2 you will find this video as a great learning tool...
The base card is white card stock which I stenciled the MFT Mix-ables “Sun Ray” stencil on with Distress fossilized amber ink.
From dark blue card stock I die cut a frame with MFT Die-an ice “Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX” which I glued over the sun.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the mice from MFT Stamps “Harvest Mouse” with StazOn jet black ink and colored them with Prisma pencils before trimming them out with scissors and applying them to the card front.
With another piece of the blue card stock I stamped the verse from the same MFT set with Colorbox frost white ink and cut a strip to apply to the front of the card.

  1. Weeee! Your little mice look like they are having so much fun with their fruits and veggies! I like how the sun is shining in the background. Thanks for sharing over at The Paper Players this week!
