Heirloom Tomato & Flatbread

There is a bounty of luscious tomatoes at the farmer’s market, Tasty Tuesday.  I have had so much fun eating all the juicy varieties available.   Today let’s talk Heirloom Tomatoes & Flatbread with cheese and herbs.

Fresh tomatoes from the farmer's market

I love big heirloom tomatoes and eat them sliced alone, on bread with mayo, and now on bread with cheese and herbs.

  1. Seeing the green tomatoes on your flatbread put me in the mood for fried green tomatoes, but I think I am unlikely to get them in the UK! Thanks for your recent visit to my blog – in answer to your question, I think the butterflies were on the dirt to collect some moisture or perhaps a mineral deposit on the ground – but I am no expert on this!

  2. Oh my goodness…you caught my attention right off with the title of your post. The recipe has been copied and I will definitely be using it this summer! Thank you so much, Carol.

  3. This looks so incredible. I love all the fresh herbs and I bet it tastes amazing with some quality tomatoes. Next time I get my hands on some I’m going to make this.
