My Favorite Things Summer School

I am participating in My Favorite Things Summer School Series 2018.

The second days homework is

I used some Post-It tape that I cut in half and adhered it to a panel on Neenah Solar White 80 lb. Cardstock diagonally.

I blended My Favorite Thing Lemon Chiffon, Cornflower and Persimmon inks to the panel and it needed  a little darker yellow, so I added Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to the yellow and liked that better. Then I realized that I got the blue outside of the Post-it Tape and did it again.

I used My Favorite Things Bold Blooms stamp set to stamp the flowers and leaves onto the colored portion with VersaMark ink and clear heat embossed them. Then I used My Favorite Things Grape ink with a blender tool over the colored area. I used n iron to remove the clear embossing with a sheet of copy paper. You put a clean part of the copy paper over the area that you want to remove the clear embossing from and repeat this until you have removed all of the clear embossing.

I then stamped more of the same flowers and leaves in black ink all over the rest of the panel I added some little yellow flowers to the centers of the flowers. Then I added some red dots and blue flower centers around the panel. 

I die cut the You from My Favorite Things You Die-Namics from some blue fun foam and also from white cardstock and glued them together and then adhered them to the panel. I stamped a small sentiment strip from My Favorite Things All About You in VersaMark ink onto a strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed it.
