GDP142: Sketch Challenge

Today on the blog I am playing along with Global Design Project’s Sketch Challenge. For this card I really wanted to incorporate some more of the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack.

So here is my card:

Along with the Memories & More cards, I decided to use the Whisper White Large Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.

Gather your supplies:

Putting your card together:

I started off by stamping the sentiment in Memento onto the Gray Memories & More card.
Using Paper Snips I fussy cut out the sentiment.
For the Happy Birthday Memories & More card I cut off a 1″ strip at the bottom. From the top left (above the happy) I measured 1″ down, then from the bottom right (below the birthday) I measures 1-1/8″ up.
Then I cut between the two points.
I adhered down the Gray card to the card base using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I tied some Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine around the Happy Birthday card.
Then adhered the Happy Birthday card to the card front with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched out a piece of Vellum with the Starburst Punch and adhered the sentiment with Tear & Tape.
I adhered the Vellum to the card by hiding some Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the sentiment. I also used some Tear & Tape to secure it to the Happy Birthday card.
Finally I attached some Gold Faceted Gems to the card, the one that is attached to Vellum is hiding another Stampin’ Dimensional.

I am loving this pack of Memories & More cards they are just stunning and perfect for using on cards!!
