Butterflies and Roses...

Good Evening Everyone....

Just spent an enjoyable afternoon pottering around my garden... cant believe how warm the weather is here in the North West of England... just like a summers day and now tea is over, dishes washed (well, thrown in the dish washer) what better way to end the day than relaxing and having one of my 'crafty moments' :o)

I made a card very similar to this one several weeks ago for my Great Auntie Dot and she has received so many lovely comments about it that she asked me to make her another one to give to her Sister... and here it is...

Isn't the digital stamp pretty and its so easy to colour in.  I feel my card has a distressed look to it with the beautiful vintage paper I've used. The ribbon had white stitching running through it which I felt didn't really match... so I used my promarker pen to highlight the stitching and so now it fits in with the colour scheme of my card.  I made the one large flower by layering different blossoms/Rose together to make it part of the focal point and added glitter glue for sparkle.
