This week, the GDP Team are featuring a Colour Challenge.
These Sunset Colours would be beautiful as a background wash or in a stunning floral display. My mind went there.. and then it went somewhere else! {the story of my life- lol}
And here is my colourful project:
This is a magic slider card that presents a black and white image but ‘magically’ becomes colourful and has a bonus message!
This fun giraffe reminds me of the lovely Gerald from Giraffes Can’t Dance, a picture story book by Giles Andreae. When Gerald the giraffe feels too awkward to dance, a cricket teaches him that he just has to find his own music. Creating cards and paper-art is a lot like that. We are all creative, graceful and beautiful when we listen to our own heart.

It is the fabulous Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus, stamp placement tool that was the key to creating layers of the giraffe that match up precisely. It also made it simple to stamp the sentiment Wild About You in Rich Razzleberry, then stamp again exactly in line again using the Versamark in which was then heat embossed in clear embossing powder to help the text be a visual ‘Pow‘ beside the sunset shades of the giraffe {Gerald}.
