Seas the Day!

FINALLY, I had some time to play along with a few challenges.  I've missed playing along over at CASology the past few weeks, so thought I would try to squeeze this one in for their current challenge...which is their 300th btw!  Congratulations!

My thought was that there is major excitement for the Copper River Salmon which hit our region this weekend.  At $60 per pound, the closest I'll get to one this year was to play on the cue word of Copper and show a "fish" splashing.

But, as you can probably tell, it's a Mermaid's Tail!  So let's just say I went with the obvious and used copper metallic cardstock and heat embossed copper glitter embossing powder.  The splash was smooshed with Distress Inks.  Either way, it was a fun card to make!

Thanks for visiting ~ Have a wonderful week!

  1. What a fun, colorful design, Ann! That copper tail really pops against the splash of blue and the texture of the glitter adds such great interest!
