International Highlights Winners Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our very exciting blog hop! Every month I hold an International Blog Highlight hosted on my blog. It is LOTS of fun and anyone is welcome to join in as long as you use all current Stampin' Up!® product. The best part - you get to vote for your top favourites.

Today I am hoping along with the winners of my highlights from February. Our theme is the same as the hop last month which was Sale-a-Bration and Occasions products. You may be starting here or have come from the person before me in the hop - that is fine! You can still hop all the way around and not miss one. The list is at the end of this post.

I decided to use some of the BRAND NEW Sale-a-Bration items that are going to be released on the 16th February. Here is the new catalogue with the new products HERE.

I love Sale-a-Bration! And, todays card using TWO Sale-a-Bration products. They are coordinating too, which makes it even better. Here is todays project;

Do you like the colour palette? I love it! I used a sheet of DSP from the Natuarally Eclectic set and this was the basis for the colour I selected.

These colours go BEAUTIFULLY together. I started with a card base in Emerald Envy. I trimmed the piece of DSP to suit the card base. I then used the flower stamp in the Amazing You in each of the three colours and stamped in random pattern. I had planned to mount this onto the DSP, but I thought that it needed something in between. So, I cut a piece of Emerald Envy to size. Perfect!

Next, I stamped the 'sunrise' stamp in Basic Black on a piece of Whisper White. I used a circle from the Layering Circles Framelit kit but I ran it through only half way and then trimmed it to size. I also used a scalloped circle also from the Layering Circles framelit and mounted that under the sunrise.

I stamped the sentiments 'YOU' and 'are simply' using Lemon Lime Twist. I really like how this turned out. I cut the 'AMAZING' using a framelit from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. I cut it out in both Soft Sky and Emerald Envy to create a shadow effect. I used the adhesive sheets behind these framelit pieces - oh man - these are SOOOOOO good!

Finally, I mounted the sentiment panel using dimensionals. I LOVE how it turned out.

What do you think? Do you like it?
