We are teaching my niece the basics, like her colors, shapes and numbers.
We are learning letter sounds and playing word games! We are participating in the library’s summer reading program and reading lots of fun rhyming books!
I am teaching my granddaughter her colors
I plan on enjoying my summer and making my sister do all the work to prepare my nephew. I have no idea what she’s planning lol.
We are going to work more on his name and letters.
We are working on the fundamentals…recognition of numbers and letters, and introducing and working on sight words.
We’re working on ABCs and phonics.
This does not apply to me, but I would prepare my child for PK by buying some workbooks for her to play with. Thanks for the giveaway!
Reading my daughter books and watching educational shows.
We both love nature so we spend a lot of time outdoors with our toddler. We find as many opportunities that we can to teach him new words colors and shapes. your backyard or local park is filled with so many learning opportunities.
I plan to play lots of number and letter games with her, I also plan to teach her to be ready to use her manners and to be nice to others.
My great niece just graduated kindergarten and my great nephew just graduated pre K sooooo their mom just found out she’s pregnant and due later this year. This would be a great gift for the new baby, going into next year 🙂
