Seasons Tweetings Lawn Fawn

This card was used making a mini Lawn Fawn kit called Winter Sparrows (stamps and dies).   I also used Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Circle Frames and Lawn Fawn Stitched Trails Border dies.

Supplies

3.   Coloured using Copic markers
5.   Paper for envelope and confetti from my stash
8.   Hero Arts Shadow Ink - Soft Vanilla
9.   Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Scallop Dies
10. White Uniball  Signo pen

The starting point for this card is to cutx 5 x 7 inch piece of white card and stamp the Hero Arts Bold Scribble stamp all over.

Next stage is to cut the 3 Lawn scallop circles out of the 5 x 7 stamped card.

Cut these circles again from co-coordinating card - we will assemble this later.

Die cut the Lawn Fawn stitched trails the full length of your stamped card.

Using the white side of the circles from the scallop circle cut above - colour these as the background for your little owls to be placed on within the aperture.  I have added a moon and stars using a white  Uni-ball Signo pen.

Time now to stamp and colour the little owls, branches, music notes and leaves.  Cut these out using the matching dies in the set.

Overlay the stamped card over the white base card and with pencil draw through the circle apertures in order that we can place your coloured background circles within the apertures.

Glue your coloured circles onto the white base card.

Glue a branch onto each circle checking the placement by overlaying the stamped front card sothat you can see the branch through the aperture.  Glue the branch and the leaves and the glue your owls now - re-check placement of the owls by again overlaying the front card and placing the owls in the aperture - attach these using 3d foam tape in order that they are raised from the apertures.

Before we do anything else we need to stamp 'Season's tweetings'.  I used my stamping platform to allow me to bend the sentiment around the Lawn Fawn stitched trails border.

Take the front card now and lay it face down on your table - place the co-ordinating coloured scallop circles in the aperture and using 3d foam tape all around the aperture tape these into place.

Now take 3d foam tape and place it all over the front card so that it is raised from the white backing card.  This allows our little owls to pop out of the apertures.

Glue the music notes and the sequins.

Eh Voila - the card is complete!

Sending you a latte love - Hero Arts & Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel

Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Die Card & Envelope

This card has been made using Lawn Fawn's reveal wheel die which creates a window where different sentiments can be stamped and viewed.

On this card I used the sentiments from My Monthly Hero Arts kit for August 2018.  They were perfect for this card.

I am listing all the supplies used below:

Supplies

1. Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die
2. Hero Arts Background Bold Newspaper Print Stamp
3.Memento Angel Pink Dye Ink Pad
4. Hero Arts Tea Time Stamps and Frame Cuts
5. Heffy Doodle cute mice
6. Lawn Fawn Push Here Interactive stamps and dies
7. We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board
8. Kuretake Clean Colour Real Brush Watercolour Brush Pens

My YouTube instruction videos on the card and the envelope.

The first stage in making this card is to get a piece of white card and stamp the Hero Arts Newspaper bold background stamp and stamp this over the card.

Next stage is to get the Lawn Fawn reveal wheel die and cut out the front portion making sure that you place the die over the text you want on the front of your card.

Cut the back piece of this reveal wheel - this time you do not need the reveal wheel window (plain white card is fine for this but as it is seen through the reveal wheel it is your choice - I used white).

Included in this die set is a scalloped wheel (where we later stamps the sentiments) and a smaller circle which is the rotating mechanism to enabling the rotating of the wheel.  Cut one scallop circle and one smaller circle in white card.  You will also need a brad to attach the small circle to the larger scallop circle.

Watch this Lawn Fawn video if you need instructions on how to use this die.

You will need a main sentiment stamp for above the reveal wheel window and a further 4 sentiments stamps for each quarter turn of the reveal wheel.

I used Hero Arts from the August 2018 monthly kit which were a great fit for the window.

I then decided the elements from the Hero Arts Tea Time stamps and die sets I wanted to feature on my card.  I stamped them on Copic friendly card, coloured and die cut them ready to assemble onto  my card.

As a novelty on my card I decided that I would love to add the Heffy Doodle cute mice stealing cheese.  The come from a Heffy Doodle set called Hello Squeakheart (linked above).

Next we need to show that the card is interactive and this is where the  Lawn Fawn Push Here stamp and die set came in really handy.  I only wanted an arrow to show that the wheel moved and their larger arrow stamp was perfect (linked above).

Lastly I made my matching envelope us We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board which I then stamped and coloured using Zig Clean

Hero Arts August 2018

I have decided that I will make a blog of all the cards I make so that I have a record.  I will list my supplies making it easier for me to duplicate it.

Supplies

7.   Background Christmas paper, buttons, metallic cord, micro star confetti, and charms from my stash.

This card was made using a technique called masking.  I had to mask the mugs so that they could be overlapped and I had to mask again so that the internal part of the mugs could be stamped with the cute mice.

1.  I first stamped the middle mug onto the white card stock, I used Memento black ink as this is Copic friendly and won't smear when the Copics touch the black outlines.

2.  I then created 2 masks for this mug - 1 of the mug and the other where I cut out the internal space of the mug so that I can stamp inside without stamping on the white space or the other mugs.

3.  I placed the mask over the mug in order to stamp another mug to give the illusion that they are behind the first mug.

4. Now stamp the 3rd mug on the right of the central mug.  That is all the mugs stamped now we need to stamp the designs on the mugs.

5. I choose the cute mice from Hero Arts Mouse Tea Party stamp set but you can choose your preferred images.

6. Take the 2nd mask of the mug - this is the mask where we cut out the mug face and then lay this over the already stamped mug.  Lay your image over the space and stamp your chosen image.  Repeat this for all 3 mugs

 7. Decorate your mugs and your mice using your preferred colouring medium.

8.Using the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle stackables then we can go ahead and place our sentiments and embellishments where the suit best.

9. Take your base card and add your patterned paper which matches your theme.

10. Add your decorated mugs rectangle and add the extra embellishments of your choice.

11. If, like me, you like making and decorating bespoke envelopes this is your next stage using the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board which is a great tool for envelopes, boxes and bows.
