Welcome to my new and soon-to-be improved website! I quickly outgrew my old site and it was just too darned difficult to find…so my new site address is http://www.stampedaf.ca. Easy to say, easy to remember. Easy peasy.
This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge and let me tell you, this sketch is so easy to work with and of course, in true Ashley fashion, I have made two options and just cannot decide which one to enter.
Maybe both?
This card is part of a bigger project that I will reveal in it’s entirety in January but for now, you get a sneak peek of this lone doe. I just love the trees in the soon-to-be-released Waterfront stamp set and when paired with the deer from Carols of Christmas and embossing paste as snow, it sure does make a beautiful winter wonderland.
I heat set the embossing paste as it adds a nice fluffy look and feel which is more like snow in my opinion. The Season’s Greetings stamp is from the October paper pumpkin and I just love the all caps look to it…I promise I am not yelling at you demanding Season’s Greetings. 🙂
Take another look at the card above and tell me that you don’t love that embossed background! This is the new Simple Stripes folder coming in the Occasions catalog in January. More to come soon my lovelies.

On second thought, I’m not sure that I can enter this card, as lovely as it is. I used non Stampin’ Up! cardstock and the festive flower punch is retired…boo.
It sure will make a great Christmas card though so no biggie.
