$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW-Zuma Seals (Malibu Hills Murder) -Deborah Brown-Ends 2/25

Tuesday, February 6, 2018

This is a departure from the books Deborah Brown usually writes--or at least the ones I have read. It read something like the beginning of a series. All the characters and their backgrounds were explored extensively. There is a plot which does have twists and turns--but leaves the main character very upset.

This is a short novel and as I said above--the way it ends you just know there will be more in this series to come. At least 2 more that I know of!

Now I just have to wait to find out what happens next!!

NEW RELEASE....

A year ago, if anyone had told Zach Lazarro he’d settle anywhere other than the Florida Keys, he’d have laughed in their face. Yet here he is in SoCal, launching a private investigations firm with two ex-SEAL buddies, settling into a long-term relationship with L.A. county’s hottest assistant district attorney, Avalon Rossi.

Figures he’d be the one to flush ZSI’s make-or-break job down the toilet. Now his rich, powerful client’s allegedly unfaithful wife is dead. And the evidence isn’t the only thing with gaping holes in it.

When it turns out one of ZSI’s own is a suspect, it’ll take more than fast talking to keep him from taking the fall. And another victim from landing in the morgue.

About the Author

I've been writing, in one way or another for as long as I can remember; writing poetry, short stories, a romance novel secretly stashed under the bed and sappy love letters. Fiction should be fun. I wanted to create the perfect beach book, to make the reader laugh, cry and cheer... and then run out and tell their friends about it.

My love of reading began when I was seven, the day I opened the cover of my first Mrs. Piggle Wiggle book. Mrs. P gave lessons to other children in how to behave and to me I learned to love the written word. I live with my family and demon children aka rescue cats in South Florida.

Hmmm I wonder why the main character is very upset? Maybe because one of the people in his business were found out to be the villain? Sounds like an interesting read and at only .99!
