There's a lot to love about this book. It's funny, mercilessly mocks various and sundry institutions, and introduces the reader to the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, my own personal favorite group in the Discworld. While the characters aren't fully developed into the versions that I really love, it's still fun seeing them as Pratchett first envisioned them.
