☀️ Here Comes the Sun! ☀️

Hello crafty friends! With what looks to be the last week of hot sunshine I was inspired to make this summer card using the set – Here comes the sun from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

https://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/here-comes-the-sun/

I have stamped the image on to Fabriano Artistico HP watercolour paper with Antique Linen distress ink. I have used my Faber Castell Albert Durer watercolour pencils to colour her in.

For the background I have used the Krafty Scenery Stencil with Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar Distress inks.

I Hope you like todays card. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Hugs, Emma xxx

🖤 KKS – Monochromatic Challenge #608 🤍

Hello dear friends, I’m back today with a card that I have done for the Kraftin’ Kimmie Saturday Challenge. This challenge is themed – Monochromatic colours. So I have decided to use sepias and French greys for this. I think this is my first mono card, it was so much fun to try a limited colour palette.

I used limited colours and limited supplies to create this card, super simple, super fun. I stamped my images with MFT Hybrid Cement Grey ink on Neenah Desert Storm card stock and I used my Caran D’ache Luminance pencils to colour it.

💜 KKS – Unicorn and Rainbow 💜

Hello friends, I’m back today with a new card, my first ever using the Flippin’ Awesome die set from Lawn Fawn.

I wanted to do a girly card using the set Unicorn and Rainnows from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps. This set is just beautiful!

I used Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock to create the elements to my flippin card and then I stamped the images on watercolour paper using MFT Hybrid Grey Ink. I coloured them with my Distress inks.

For the clouds I used the KKS Krafty Scenery Stencil using the inks Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet.

🧝‍♀️ Gift Wrap Elf 🧝‍♀️

Hello friends, I’m back today with a card I have made for the Kraftin’ Kimmie Christmas challenge.

I have used an old favourite rubber stamp for this – Gift Wrap Elf – isn’t she just the cutest! I have used the colour palette suggested for this challenge which I will leave below in case you want to join in!

Aren’t those colours just gorgeous. I wouldn’t usually use these for a Christmas card but that’s what so great about challenges, it makes you think outside the box and try something new. 🤍💜💙

For my card today I stamped her out with MFT Cement Grey Hybrid ink on Strathmore Toned Tan paper. I then used my Caran D’ache Luminance pencils to colour her up. I have used a sentiment from the C.C. Designs Elf Swissie stamp set.

I hope you like todays card. I hope you join in with the challenge and I can’t wait to see what you create. Happy crafting!

Hugs, Emma xoxo

🧜‍♀️ Kraftin’ Kimmie Mermaids 🧜‍♀️

If you love Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps then I’m sure you’re going to love today’s inspiration. I’ve mixed two KK stamp sets together to make one scene and I just love it.

I have used the Sandy Seawater and Florence Finbottom stamp sets. These are sets designed by Annie Rodrigue, she creates the most gorgeous images.

I’ve used my distress inks to colour them both up on The Langton hot pressed watercolour paper.

I hope you like today’s card. Don’t forget to stop by Kimmie’s shop and take a look at her new release, it’s AMAZING! Happy crafting! Hugs, Emma xoxo

🐨 A Koala-ty Friend 🐨

If you have popped on over to the Kraftin Kimmie Facebook group lately you will probably have noticed a ton of challenges this month. Kimmie is always trying to get you to use your products more instead of just buying them and forgetting about them. She’s a real sweetie!

I have joined in with the challenge – Use your stencils – so I have pulled out my Harlequin stencil and created my own Distress inked background. The stamp set – A Koala-ty Friend – I bought back in 2017 and is in rubber so I’m not sure it’s still available.

I have stamped and coloured one of the images in the set with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I stamped a coordinating sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

I hope you like today’s card. Have a happy Friday and a lovely weekend!

Hugs, Emma xoxo
