SSS Monday and Wednesday Challenges: It’s Written in the Stars and Clean and Simple

Here’s my entry for the following challenges:

Unfortunately, I don’t own any CASual Friday products, but looking at the list of products at Simon Says Stamp is certainly tempting!

I  cut the blue panel, and diecut Spellbinders stars from it. I then used an embossing folder to emboss the blue layer. I diecut a PTI bookmark die from teal cardstock. I glued flat the orange matting piece, popped up the blue panel with foam tape, and then topped it off with a vellum layer with a heat embossed sentiment and a little bling.  The final touch was to attach the bookmark to the back and tie a ribbon bow to complete it.

  1. This is fantastic! This really does look effortless, yet totally professional at the same time! I love the colors you combined and I like how you paid attention to tall the layers and made some of them pop out and others blend in. I love the bits of bling and how the ribbon brings in so much texture, too! You did an amazing job here and I’m so glad you took the time to share your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
