MFT Warm and Fuzzy Birthday card…

Hi and welcome to a beautiful Summer’s eve campfire! This set is so cute, can’t believe it’s the first time I’ve used it.  The kids have used it but me, I’m the last one!  Now it’s retiring but we know there’s always more cute coming… You can still find it HERE and the dies HERE…hurry if you want them!

This was our grandson Cedryk’s 5th birthday card.  They live in the country and at night they’ll go visit the cows in the gator… the cows love to come talk to Cedryk! lol  Actually Ced talks to them and they listen!  lol

I used Distress Oxide inks for the sky and grass ink blendingwater dripped on and dabbed off for the faint spots in the sky.  Puffy cloud dies, you can find them HERE.

So cute!  Love that little hedgie!  I colored the images with Copic Markers on MFT  Sweet Tooth Card stock.  I have a little trouble with the copics bleeding on it but I like how easy it blends. A basic A2 size card.

Sharing my card on some challenge blogs…

  1. Your grandson has the cutest name! He’ll love that card! So cute! When I first read about “cows in the gator”, being from FL, the first thing I thought was, “poor cow was eaten by a gator”. I had to laugh when I realized you were talking about an ATV! Guess I’m still a FL girl. LOL!! 🙂

  2. Oh Pam this is so cute – oh that hedgie is so adorable!! Love how you combine everything together, and love that oxide sky too!!

  3. Such cuteness – I had to think a minute about the “gator” – and then it hit me. Your grandon is going to love hi birthday card. Can’t beat MFT for CUTE. Great job on the oxide inks.

  4. Ack! You get to make all these cute cards for the grands and I love them so much! I’ll have to ask my friend if she ever needs kids cards. She probably does as she sends LOTS of cards. It’ll give me a good excuse. All your inking and coloring is fabulous. The die cut images give the card great dimension but still easily mailable. I’ve got a thing about mailable cards. They have to fit in a regular envelope. Sometimes I go whole hog, but I’m not real happy when it comes time to mail them. These critters are a hoot, but the way you made the scene gives them such life!

  5. Your oxide ink background is perfect for your fun camping scene Pam! That is a cute set. Thanks for playing along at The Paper Players…. always fun to see your cards in the gallery!

  6. What fabulous scene you created. You used the Oxide inks beautifully. So glad you shared this fabulous card with us at the Paper Players this week
