A Trio of Cards

Hello … bonjour!  Hope your Sunday is going along wonderfully.  I have a trio of cards to share today, so will keep the chatter short and sweet … you may wish to grab a something long and cool and a snack before embarking!  First up, a wild flower, summer meadow-y sort of card …

Papertrey blooms, stamped onto a white panel and blinged up with some Stickles.  The sentiment (also Papertrey) was cut into the panel, popped up on craft foam and pieced back in.  The panel was popped up over a sponged-edged base card.  As it was for a special birthday celebration, I stamped a matching envelope too …

I’m playing along at …

Color Throwdown – Dark Pink, Pale Pink, Green, White

Happy Little Stampers Dies – Anything Goes

Seize The Birthday – Anything Goes (No Topping)

SSS Work It Wednesday – Summer Icons

Next, a clean and simple, slightly graphic card …

This was really quick to make … I used the Hero Arts Just For You by Lia stamp set, exactly as it’s laid out on the acetate carry sheet … stamped it onto a Winnie & Walter scalloped pierced panel and coloured it with alcohol markers.  The images were given some shimmer and shine with Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents and the panel was adhered to the base with craft foam.

This is heading to …

A Blog Named Hero – Florals (with Winnie & Walter)

A2Z Scrapbooking – Anything Goes (Hero Arts)

Finally, a bright, smooshy little number …

Another Winnie & Walter scalloped pierced panel, cut from a piece of Distress Ink smooshed card … with a touch of gold thrown in for a bit of shimmer.  The gold isn’t too obvious here … you’ll see it better if you go in closer.  The Clearly Besotted dandelions were heat embossed in white, I added the simple sentiment (also CB), dotted over the piercings with a black fine liner and mounted the panel onto the card base with craft foam.

It’s joining in the fun at …

Happy Little Stampers Watercolour – Anything Goes (No Optional Twist)

SSS Monday – Distress It

The Flower Challenge – Embossing Heat/Dry

If you’ve made it this far, well done … and thank you so much … your visits and comments are always a joy!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  Anita 🙂Save

A trio of delight, Anita. The first one is lovely with the little flower garden. I really like the font on the birthday die and it looks beautiful popped up. Oh the second one made me smile. It’s so striking! And I own that set, so you have given me some new ideas for it. Thanks. The smooshed card looks so pretty with the hint of gold. Thank you for sharing these wonderful cards! Hugs!

Your meadow of flowers is beautiful, but my jaw dropped at that “just for you” layout. A girl after my own heart, stamping as the layout is on the stamp set. I have that set. You can bet I’ll be doing the same. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great cards! Love the clean and bright look of your first, but my favorite is the grungy-look of the last…no surprise I think… Hope you have a fun sunday!

Well. this garden is full of floral delights. Clearly, you’ve been very busy. And beautifully so. The hidden sentiment on the first card is stunning on the lovely meadow you meticulously stamped. By contrast, those little leaves and blooms are whimsical and playful on your second card. Third card is an absolute miracle. The delicate bloom is striking against that vibrant pink…and, yes, undoubtedly, the gold is the ideal accent. This whole bunch are winners in my book.

What a delicious summery way to start my Sunday, Anita! I love them all! That last card is a bit out of norm for you, but still so “you,” which makes no sense, but there you have it! I want a berry smoothy now! But that first one is my fave. Where is this garden, pray tell, and do they allow us to walk barefoot there? I can smell the heady aroma from the blossoms and I won’t even mind the happy bees flitting from flower to flower! Wow!! LYAMYMA-YTIA!! Great to see you back so soon!! I hope you enjoyed Bastille Day on Friday!! Hugs, Darnell

Yea! Three gorgeous cards and I have the middle stamp – rushing off to totally case this darling little card for my emergency stash. Thank you for such great inspiration. I always seem to bog down in this biggest month of the year for birthdays – at least in my life. =^..^=

Looks like you’ve been very productive Anita! All absolute beauties but I think the second is my favourite. I’d never have picked the last one as being one of your cards…less clean than your usual style but oh, so stunning! I feel a case coming on…

Three beautiful cards, Anita. The summery garden is so bright and fresh with pink and green. Great job with hidden word technique. And the second is adorable with all the little stamps that create a great collage. Stamping them directly from the acetate backing sheet is such a great way to create and quick card. And pink watercoloured background with white heat embossed flowers is gorgeous. Thanks for all this amazing inspiration. xx

Each of your creations are a delight! The PTI florals with the inlaid sentiment – wow! My fave is the 2nd one because of the whimsey, I guess. Great job on all three!

Bises & hugs.

Wow, Anita. I don’t know where to start. They are all so wonderful, and even though very different, I would recognize them all as your cards. Stunning and colorful and clean. Sorry I’ve been MIA for so long. It’s great to be able to visit and see what you’ve been up to.

I am loving all the pink you used on the first and last card. The smooshing you did on the last card is awesome. I have those stamps you used for your second card. I have NEVER pulled them out because they were smaller then I thought they would be. I LOVE your design. Might have to CASE it. Thank you for the inspiration!!
