Papertrey Ink Make It Mondays 31

Here's how the conversation normally goes:

Monday: Check the PTI blog. See the MIM video. Assuming I have supplies, say to self, "Yeah, we'll give that a go on Saturday."

Saturday: "Meh. It's been a long week, I don't feel like hauling all my stuff out."

And so, I don't usually get to do make it mondays.

But since today is a holiday AND I already used the weekend to do my normal weekend things, I got a little crafty today.

The Make It Monday challenge is to use non-background stamps to make a background. I used a dandelion head from the Anniversary set, Botanical Silhouettes. It looks like little fireworks! The basic color scheme is melon berry, enchanted evening, and simply chartreuse (I used calypso coral, the indigo, and lucky limeade from the new SU in colors as ink.) And, of course, all the really GOOD patterned paper has glitter, so....... stickles.

The dandelion heads really look like fireworks and your colour scheme give a great festive look as well. Great background.

Yea, you really pulled the FIREWORK look off with style! The STAR button finishes off the theme. Very polished. LOVE IT!
