Wednesday Post

Hi Everybody!

Today I am sharing an A3 mixed media piece, once again using
my head. I am linking to Art Journal Journey, Gill's lovely challenge 'elegance and grunge'. I am also linking to Simon Monday challenge, it's
a frame up, as my head is framing the content here, and to
Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin

Yesterday the day started off with a lovely sunrise:

In the afternoon we visited the Eko House, the Japanese
culture centre, garden and Temple in Düsseldorf -
a very beautiful place

More photos to follow another day!
And the moon in the evening was fantastic, too:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  17. I like all the layers you achieved in the face. It was a stunning AJJ entry.

The Eko Japanese Culture Center is beautiful. There appears to be so much to see there. It is truly lovely. I was most impressed by how green and springlike everything was. I thought the grounds were so well kept and your photos showed so much beauty. Really impressive.

The moon shot had me swooning, too!

  35. I find myself very drawn to your beautiful art piece today. It has a wonderful quality that I keep returning to, even after looking at the other beautiful photos in the post. I love Japanese gardens. They are so tranquil. So not like anything I could/would have in my yard simply because they are so darned hard to care for and I tend to go a bit more for the wild look (read that as "lazy gardener.") But there is something so elegant and calm about the Japanese garden that makes me wish one was nearby!
