Party Time

What does a girl do when wanting to make a card with balloons and you don’t have any stamps???  Well.. this is what you do, you utilize those as you see below!  balloons

All I used was a few small items and I really think ANYONE can make this card!!!  I stared with a heavy white cardstock and trimed it and folded it down to A2 size.  Then I utilized those wonderful blending tools and round sponges and inked up my blending tool really well in each color with the Distress Oxide inks and once I placed the sponge down I ever so carefully twisted the blending tool left and right and pressing down at the same time.  The colors I used to make the balloons are the following:

*Wilted Violet

*Broken China

*Worn Lipstick

*Spiced Marmalade

*Cracked Pistachio

*Fossilized Amber

The balloons were finished off with me drawing in their ties with a Faber Castell Pitt Penn 1.5mm.  You can use any black pen but I would recommend something that is waterproof/permanent.

I also used the Broken China Distress Oxide ink to create the sky background of the card.  I added a simple sentiment topper from “Verity Rose” Paper pack from my Crafter’s Companion magazine and popped that up on some double sided foam squares and then cut the corners with my Fiskars corner cutter.

This card was made with both #sssmchallenge for rainbow colors and Tim Holtz Products and #ssswchallenge celebrating their birthday!

This card is simple and can be used to celebrate anyone’s birthday at any age!

Thank you for stopping and comments are welcomed!

Blessings, Anna
