I think it was on the Crafters Companion site that I saw a demo of how to color flowers like this. I just remember they said to do small dots of black around the outside rim of the flower. The colors were yellow on the bottom half of the flower and red at the top, with other colors blending in the middle. I really like how vibrant they look and plan on trying this with different colors. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

This card jumps off the page because it looks so real. You did an unbelievable job coloring this image and the colors you chose are so nice. I also want to thank you so much for saying that my tulip card was a favorite of the week. Thanks for taking the time to do that. I appreciate that so much.
Beautiful Card!!
I’d love for you to link this up to the Cropstop Challenge where anything goes as long as you use some products from companies they carry in the store (you did!). You can check it out here: http://www.cropstop.com/blog/cards/march-challenge-link-party-26

Hi Amy. I think this is based on my tutorial for Spectrum Noir. Its always fun to see the tutorials being used and you are right about the use of black dots for adding shade! Thank you for giving credit. The tutorial featuring this beautiful Power Poppy stamp can be found here: https://www.spectrumnoir.com/custom-made-gift-box/
