Happy Friday!
Can you believe March is almost gone? But I have one last card to share with you today inspired by Mood Board for the Monthly Social Media Challenge from Craftin Desert Divas! As always it’s so amazing! Love all the bright spring cheerful colors on it!
I decided to take on my first card inspired by this mood board and interpret it in a different way! Once again I used dies, but this time I played with Inside Scalloped Circle Dies and added custom colors to the flowers instead of using color cardstock.
I used the largest circle die from this set to create my card base and lovely flower and leaf shape dies to embellish it creating a flower wreath around a heat embossed sentiment from Simply Said stamp set. I die-cut all the element from Bristol paper since I were going to color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and added color in a very simple non perfect splotchy watercolor way. I adhered all the element directly to the card base and used a few black accents to bring some contrast and interest.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you’ve joined Craftin Desert divas March Monthly Social Media Challenge! And, of course, you can find more inspiration for your spring cards in the Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Gallery! If you aren’t a member, just request it here.
