(2017 c1) Slider card, Lawn Fawn
Lagene ♦ January 28, 2017 ♦ 8 Comments
Slider card made with my new Lawn Fawn “Slide on Over” die found at Ellen Hutson.
You can see the flight path the digital STEAMPUNK OWL makes diagonally down the card . The Happy Birthday was cut with my new Tim Holtz Celebrate Sizzix Thinlits dies found at Ellen Hutson.
First I printed the Steampunk owl and colored with Copics. Then I embossed DCWV “The Foiled Cardstock Stack” with my new Cuttlebug “Polka Dots” embossing folder.
For the Penny Slider card, I used Lawn Fawn Slide on Over die to cut the slider channel.
Then I cut out a wider slot in Fun Foam & applied to the back of the embossed panel, this allows the penny to slide freely. On the bottom penny that is just lying there for you to see, I put a long piece of foam on it so that the owl will not turn in circles as it slides. If you use a round foam dot your object will actually do summersaults instead of just gliding along the slot.

Love the slider and bright background. We are so blessed for your participation in our last Challenge and would love for you to join us again in our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with this Scripture inspiration from Colossians 2:6-7 which tells us, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Have a blessed week.
