I can never have enough of autumn – the gusty winds and riot of coloured leaves, changing everyday until they disappear. It is magical here in New Jersey and I have made it a practice to go for a half an hour walk every morning. For hubby dear, it is more of a morning jog while I go on a leisure walk- picking leaves, clicking photos and just spending quality time with Mother nature. It was pretty windy on Friday and as I walked, I watched the leaves dance and drift in the wind, giving me goosebumps.
In this card, I try to bring that autumn wind feel with all the beautiful fall foliage. I used a pre-embossed pattern paper from Craft Smith® and tried to give the word ‘thankful’ a distressed, unfinished look using gold embossing powder. I also sprinkled some around the word to make it appear as a ‘word-in-the-wind’!
Fuzzy cut the leaves and pumpkins from another pattern paper in the same ‘Pumpkin Spice’ collection of Craft Smith®. The golden strips come from ‘Gold foil’ collection . This card goes as an entry to

I wish this season could last a few more months.. 😛 and since that is impossible, I hope to soak in all the inspiration that surrounds me now and let it take shape in everything I create!
Until next time, bye and happy crafting!
Such a pretty card and I adore the embossed background, it looks fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing and for playing along with us over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog… 🙂
