I knew as soon as I saw this stamp that I wanted it! Its super beautiful, I love the mix of flowers, all clustered – just perfect for a bunch of techniques! I just wanted to get a good chance to use it! I made this card, mainly as another submission to the Sovushka Slavia CAS Marathon, but another reason, the Flower Challenge – just perfect two reasons!! 😉

I used my MISTI for this, since I required to stamp multiple times – I first used three inks – PTI Sweet Blush, PTI Melon Berry and PTI Fine Linen, stamped them in ombre, then stamped it again in Versamark watermark ink and heat embossed it clear. I then colored it using Zig brush markers, and then added some splatters with water and brown ink.

I then die cut the panel above, using SSS Wavy Scallop Stitches (I actually had to do partial die cutting, passing it twice to get the panel cut, since the direction of the wave is actually different in the die cut). I then stamped the sentiment from Penny Black Flower Sparks in Memento Tuxedo Black and mounted it using foam tape.

  2. Oh Goodness Ashwini!!! this is gorgeous, love the curved die and this amazing cluster of flowers, all the colors are so bright and so intense, this image just pops off the panel.
